Today on Sky Sports Racing: Touleen faces Forty Years On at Doncaster

The final day of the St Leger Festival sees Touleen clash with Forty Years On.

The feature on the final day of the Betfred St Leger Festival sees top fillies Forty Years On and Touleen do battle in the Group 3 Japan Racing Association Sceptre Fillies' Stakes.

Touleen tops the ratings for Owen Burrows and new pilot David Probert. She has shown top-class form on her day but has been beaten the last twice including in this grade. Her trainer has enlisted cheekpieces as she seeks a first stakes success, having been arguably unlucky when beaten by Precise in the Coronation Stakes earlier this term.

George Scott's Forty Years On has a rapidly progressive profile having scored on her last two starts and, given the impression she made over course and distance last time, she must be feared in this hotter heat.

Plenty have each-way claims including Darnation and The Prettiest Star, whilst the 102-rated Magic Basma will look to regain the winning thread having not tasted success since her debut win thirteen starts ago.

A strong edition of this Betfred City Of Doncaster Handicap sees Wechaad go to post, who will be popular for the Roger Varian team.

A winner over this course and distance last season, this son of Oasis Dream has run a few fair races in defeat and looks to be building to a better effort. Third off this mark at Newmarket, it is hoped he can step forward at a track that suits.

Military Code tops the weights with Toby Moore claiming a handy 7lb in the Godolphin blue. A useful two-year-old, he is yet to score this season but showed improved form in the hood last time and has been dropped another 1lb.

Langstone has good form here, while Zooming and last-time winner Lion Of Mali appeal as best of the rest.

An open feel to this Betfred Mallard handicap sees Valedictory and Say What You See feature among a field of nine.

The John and Thady Gosden-trained Valedictory has been a consistent performer this summer, winning two of his six outings. Having been a tad disappointing at York, connections pop a visor on him this afternoon.

Say What You See heads the opposition for Liam Bailey and Billy Garritty. The son of Belardo remains on the upgrade after another excellent effort at York and a similar run would put him in the mix.

Of the others, Ernst Blofeld has always hinted at better, while All In You is lightly raced in this sphere.

Also on Town Moor, a nice-looking Betfred 'The Classic Bookmaker' Handicap (1.55pm) is headlined by Asuka, who is sure to be fancied for the George Boughey and Billy Loughnane combination. In opposition is Completely Random, who ran a solid race when fourth in the Stewards' Cup but has been hiked up 2lbs to 104 for the effort.

At Bath, Dark Sun and Geemann face off in the 3.50pm Loud Hire Production Services Bath Summer Sprint Series Final Handicap, after Boilermaker headlines proceedings in the 3.15pm Loud Hire Staging Hire Bath Summer Stayers' Series Final Handicap.

Across the channel, Francis-Henri Graffard's Rayevka looks the star in the Prix du Petit Couvert (1.33pm) before attention turns to the Prix du Pin (2.50pm) and Prix du Prince D'Orange (3.25pm) - which sees Daryzan take on Phineas.
