Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison transfer news: Tottenham and Everton in advanced talks over separate deals

Tottenham and Everton are in advanced talks over transfers for Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison.

A potential fee of £60m for Ndiaye - who has rejected multiple new contract offers from Everton - is being discussed, with conversations over personal terms around a switch to north London also ongoing.

Ndiaye, who has scored 17 goals in 74 appearances since joining Everton from Marseille two seasons ago, has also been of interest to Manchester City, but .

Everton want to re-sign Spurs striker Richarlison, with a fee of £35m being discussed.

Folarin Balogun is another forward option Everton are considering, but, as things stand, their full focus is on their former player.

Richarlison left Merseyside in 2022, joining Antonio Conte's Spurs side in a £60m deal, but has had a frustrating time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi admitted on Saturday that Richarlison - who scored 53 goals in 152 games for Everton - was one of three players who has asked to leave before the deadline. The other two are Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr.

De Zerbi revealed Richarlison, who is in the final year of his contract, was left out of Saturday's squad for the 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle because he had asked to leave "too many times".

"Richarlison, I don't know. He said too many times he wants to leave," De Zerbi said.

De Zerbi also wants to sign a new forward before the deadline. Chelsea's Pedro Neto has also been on their radar but it looks like they are moving for Ndiaye.

Spurs have spent more than £300m already in this summer's transfer window. Omar Marmoush was the most recent arrival on a loan with an obligation to buy, joining former Manchester City team-mate Savio at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after the Brazilian signed in an £85m deal.

Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke arrived earlier this summer for combined fees of £237m. Spurs also added Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers.

Everton are continuing talks with Manchester City over another deal for Jack Grealish.

The structure of the deal remains quite fluid at this stage, Your Site News understands, with Grealish in the final year of his City contract.

Grealish was absent as City beat Crystal Palace 4-1 at Selhurst Park on Friday night.

Your Site News reported earlier this month that Sunderland were exploring a potential move for the forward who spent last season on loan at Everton.

Asked about Grealish's absence, Maresca said: "I had a chat with Jack [Thursday]. Again, we'll see what happens in the next 48 to 72 hours. We'll see."

Nottingham Forest's proposed move for Harrison Armstrong from Everton has broken down.

After receiving an approach from Forest, who were willing to pay £40m for the 19-year-old midfielder, Your Site News understands the board is unanimous in its decision to not sell the player.

Speaking after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, Everton manager David Moyes said it would be a "club decision" whether Armstrong would be sold.

Asked if the bid for Armstrong should be accepted, Moyes said: "It's not really a question for just now. It will be a club decision."

Academy graduate Armstrong started on the south coast to make his 24th Everton appearance.

Travelling fans made clear their feelings on the future of the England U19 international, repeatedly chanting that a sale would leave the club with "a riot" on their hands.

"You always have to consider supporters; supporters aren't always wrong," said Moyes.

"Managers have to make decisions on players sometimes and they feels like huge decisions. But there's sometimes bigger decisions to be made and the club will, I'm sure, make what they think is the right one.

"If I'd say something to them [the fans], I'd say their manager's an Evertonian."
