Birmingham and Wolves played out a chaotic 2-2 draw as Jackson Tchatchoua's own goal saw the spoils shared.
All the goals in a thrilling derby came in the first half. Fer Lopez steered Wolves in front before Jay Stansfield levelled for Birmingham. There were questions over whether he handled it as he controlled the ball, but the finish was emphatic as he lashed it into the top corner.
Ladislav Krejci, making his first league appearance of the season, then headed Wolves back in front, before Tchatchoua inexplicably steered the ball beyond his own goalkeeper Jose Sa with a blind pass.
Both sides had chances to win it in the second half, but the golden opportunity fell to Adam Armstrong in the dying embers, who somehow struck the ball over from inside the box after being teed up perfectly by Lopez.
3: GOAL! What a start for Wolves! A hectic opening and it's their star of the season so far who has given them the lead. Fer Lopez turns smartly on halfway and gives it to Jimenez. He the finds Gomes to his right, who crosses into the middle, where Lopez has continued his run to bury it from close range.
18: BIG SAVE! Wolves should be 2-0 up. Birmingham lose it deep in their own half and Jimenez feeds in Gomes. He is through on goal and tries to slot it past Beadle, but a big hand from the big goalkeeper puts it wide.
23: GOAL! Jay Stansfield LASHES Birmingham level. The Blues work it forward nicely. Roberts then clips one into Stansfield, who controls it brilliantly on his chest before smashing one past Sa from the angle. What a hit.
31: GOAL! Wolves are back in front! A corner comes in from Bueno which is headed on by Andre, and Krejci arrives to absolutely pelt a header into the back of the next from six yards.
36: GOAL! WHAT ON EARTH HAVE I JUST WITNESSED. Tchatchoua what have you done. A harmless ball is played back to the defender. And without looking he tries to hook it back to his goalkeeper. But Sa has come off his line, and the defender's ball passes him and ends up crossing his own line.
87: HUGE CHANCE TO WIN IT! Out of nowhere, Wolves have an unbelievable chance. Fer Lopez latches onto a long ball up the pitch and he plays Armstrong in. He just has to do his thing and slot it home past Beadle, but he launches it over the bar!
Birmingham's Chris Davies:
"There are mixed feelings because I'm proud of the performance. I thought they gave their all and I'll always be content with that, but I'm frustrated that we haven't managed to get the three points.
"I think there was probably enough in there. It was against a really good side. They obviously had their moments, but I thought we could have won it.
"They had a chance towards the end as well, to be fair, but we take a point. Again, it was an encouraging performance.
"You need the three points. Encouraging draws are a good thing, but you need the three points and that's what we've got to keep searching and pushing for."
Wolves' Cesar Peixoto:
"It is difficult to explain something like [the own goal]. I don't say anything. We have to stay together, all together. Mistakes happen in games. Today was a mistake, but we have to fight together.
"It is not because of Jack that we didn't win. We had [plenty of time] to score a third goal and win the game. We have to play better, but today was very difficult.
"Birmingham are a difficult team. They play directly, with the first ball and second ball all the time. They are a strong team and win a lot of duels.
"I think the referee allowed a lot of passes and play to continue, but it is one point for us. It is not what we want, but I am happy with one point."
