'Arsenal monitoring Liverpool teenager Ngumoha'
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha in case the teenager does not sign a long-term contract at Anfield, according to The Athletic.
The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting young players at Liverpool and has already made 35 senior appearances and scored two goals.
Ngumoha joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2024 and has continued his development on Merseyside, with the club viewing him as a player with significant first-team potential.
The Gunners have invested heavily in young talent in recent years and are understood to be keeping a close eye on Ngumoha's contract situation.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will be keen to secure the teenager's future and prevent interest from elsewhere developing into a formal approach.
'Man City and Real Madrid circling Man Utd's Gabriel'
Manchester United fear teenage prodigy JJ Gabriel could join rivals Manchester City after asking to leave the club, according to The Sun.
The 15-year-old forward is understood to have informed United of his desire to leave, with the club now facing the prospect of losing one of the most highly rated young players in their academy.
City are suggested to be among the clubs understood to be monitoring his situation.
Gabriel has attracted significant attention despite his age, with his performances at youth level generating considerable excitement over his potential.
Real Madrid are also among the clubs monitoring Gabriel's situation, according to The Athletic.
The report adds that United's priority will now be to try to retain the teenager, but his decision to ask to leave has opened the door to interest from a number of leading clubs.
City's interest would add another significant dimension to the situation given the rivalry between the two Manchester clubs.
Gabriel's age means any potential move would also be subject to the regulations governing the transfer and registration of young players.
United will be keen to resolve the situation as quickly as possible as they look to protect one of the most promising players to have emerged through their academy in recent years.
Fernandez signs new London City Lionesses contract
London City Lionesses defender Jana Fernndez has extended her contract with the club until the summer of 2029.
The 24-year-old joined London City from Barcelona in August 2025 and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in the Barclays Women's Super League.
Fernndez featured in all of the club's league matches during their maiden WSL season.
Supporters recognised her displays, and Fernndez was voted Fans' Player of the Season for 2025/26.
She also opened her goalscoring account for the club during February's Women's FA Cup meeting with Tottenham before finding the net again in a 1-1 league draw against West Ham in March.
Fernndez brings experience at the highest level despite her age, having won the Primera Divisin five times, the Copa de la Reina three times and the Supercopa de Espaa Femenina on four occasions.
She has also lifted the UEFA Women's Champions League three times during her career.
Fernndez was part of Spain's squad that finished runners-up at UEFA Women's EURO 2025.
Fernndez said: "I'm absolutely delighted to sign a new contract here at London City.
"When I arrived in England one year ago, I joined this club with dreams for the future.
"Potential, excitement and progress are three words I associate with the club and I'm pleased to commit my future. I feel at home and settled here.
